Following the success of our "Smart Collaboration in Healthcare" event earlier this year, we are today organizing "Smart Collaboration in Public Healthcare": an informative and inspiring event for public healthcare professionals involved in collaboration, policy, and information provision.

During this event, we'll meet with colleagues, experts, and those with lived experience in the field. We invite various speakers to share their thoughts on the future of public healthcare.

Unequal investment for equal opportunities

The day will be opened by chair Jesper Rijpma, followed by a keynote address by behavioral scientist Felix Uhl of De Gedragsstudio. In his opening plenary session, he will guide attendees through the dynamics of behavior: what determines whether someone responds or not, and how can you design interventions that also reach and activate vulnerable groups?

With the theme "Unequal Investment for Equal Opportunities" as a common thread, Felix demonstrates the importance of providing tailored solutions. Using concrete, practical examples, he illustrates how to mobilize vulnerable groups.

Knowledge sessions

Later in the day, several knowledge sessions will be held. Rob de Negro (Topicus) and Faiez Joemmanbaks of CJG Den Haag will share innovations in patient interaction using AI. Roelof Krist (Topicus) will immerse attendees in the world of Personal Health Environments (PHEs). Prof. Dr. Ir. Erwin Hans of the University of Twente will unravel the scarcity paradox in healthcare. Prof. Dr. Ron Gansevoort (UMCG) will discuss the Check@Home consortium and the pilot population study Ik Test. Patrick Spekman and chair Jesper will conclude the day.
